Anyone experience AC not blowing from the front vents. There is air being pushed through the system, seems to go to defrost or vents at feet. Rear seems to be working fine as well. It started with just the passenger side a couple weeks ago - then today nothing from drivers side either. Its almost as if the computer needs reset or computer isn't talking to the dampers or something (I dont even know if there are dampers back there). I bought vehicle brand new - only 9 months - 11K Miles. This shouldn't be happening. Curious if its something i hit or did that caused it or if its actually an issue. I have it scheduled to go in but looking to see if there are any answers.

did you have a service lately? Check to see if the cabin filters were installed incorrectly and blocking the dampers, according to others here. I've not experienced this, but plenty of others here if you search it.

I did in fact have it serviced recently... right around the time this started...hmmm

Dig around in this section on the recirculate flap/door problem. It is not hard to break the door and it is a very difficult and expensive fix. Lots of toyota techs have broken them and people only realize it years later.

I'm curious what the solution is. Mine is a 16 LC with the same issue. It lasts anywhere from a half day to a day, with multiple restarts of the vehicle throughout the day. Then returns to normal operation. It's intermittent so the dealer is unable to fix the issue because they can't replicate it.

I’ve had this happen twice now in the last two months intermittently. ‘11 LX with 195k. I did recently change the cabin air filter…I’ll double check placement tomorrow. Curious if anyone else has fixed this problem already.

A few of us have seen this happen on very rare occasions. I will note that it's only happened the one time for me. Here's a thread where we discussed the solution:
