I've got a new to me 200 series 2009 Land Cruiser, when I push the DISC AUX button, regardless of how many times I push the button, it stays on DVD. My cruiser has rear entertainment DVD screen. I was reading that the Aux Input itself can sometimes fail and then won't be detected and cause this to happen. Today I replaced the aux input with the same part but new, still nothing.
Anyone encountered a similar problem and have a remedy or suggestions?
All this to say I don't care about using a headphone jack, but need the Aux Input to be detected as I've retrofitted Apple CarPlay via Hamilton unit and need to be able to switch to this input. The lack of input switching pushing DISC AUX button was present prior to installing the Hamilton CarPlay unit.
