Starting a build thread for my partners 2016 Limited.

It will complement my 2015 GX.

The T4R already has Bilstein 5100s to replace the Xreas which really transformed it. It's an absolute blast to drive now. The shop
Put the front up 2.5" even though we didn't ask them to, and have just left it. Not sure how much lift they will want once it has a steel bumper.

I put an Odyssey 24F with a Voltage Booster from Voltage Booster Pro in just over the weekend.

I have a set of seat jackers and ARB skids that still need to be installed.

I’m also doing up a 2016 limited, so far I have a 3” Ironman stage 2 , 275/70/18 ridge grapplers on Tacoma limited wheels (covers removed) , extended rear swaybar links and Icon rear uppers, lowers and pan hard bar. Ordering up a weld in pan hard correction kit next . Keep up on your additions!

Did you have to do anything special to get those to fit? I have 33x10.5s on my GX and have been eyeballing 265/70 and 275/70R18s for my winter tires.

Nice! Hope you clear when flexing. I know I just clear in my GX with factory steelies, and no lift.

When you say the Bilstein 5100s transformed it vs the XREAS, can you elaborate?

My 2010 Limited is hitting 140,000 miles and I’m feeling the itch to start the transformation to more off-road prowess.

The Bilsteins aren't anywhere near as smooth as the Xreas, if you want that, factory base model GX460 shocks are perfect for that kind of ride.

Bilsteins are Digressive so they start firm and loosening up under bigger bumps. They make it feel sportier and it soaks up bigger bumps way better. Anecdotally we both feel it's better at controlling dive and pulling in crosswinds.

They are a 2" monotube with rubber bushings. So relatively low maintenance.

We had the front 5100s dropped to .75. Probably get some different tires for it soon. Already have another set of steelies, just like my GX. Probably going to get Revos

Truck was diagnosed as needing a new sunroof for a water leak issue it has. Looks like Westside Autobody stripped the sunroof bolts out. We are probably going to get rid of it.
