Hi All,

This is my first post on the forum. Looking forward to spending more time here.

Anyone know how to remove the dash panel under the steering wheel on a 2016 (pic of the panel below)? I need to access the BCM behind this panel to install a new remote start.

I’ve tried removing all of the screws at the bottom of the panel and it still won’t budge. I’m thinking it must come off starting from the top rather then the bottom but don’t want to start breaking clips if that’s not correct. Also a bit concerned pulling things apart around the knee airbag.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Chris

It comes apart from the bottom first. Do a search on 'mud (this 200 forum) for trailer brake install for a good pictorial.

I have some pics in a post installing a brake controller that may help.. mine is a 2020 but should be similar. The pics for reference are at the beginning of the post.
