When I was shopping for an LC in my late 20s, a dealer asked me the same question. Nope, single, work from home, do not drive much and when I do, I mostly take the LS460.

Well from my old car, an Alfa romeo... im not spending much more on gas. I got 17mpg on premium so I'm happy paying 87 prices now, I also cut my insurance in half.
Think you are right about the hitch covers now that I look at them.
My wife and I frequently talk about how much gas our LX uses and then feel super thankful we don't drive alot outside of taking trips in it
