2013 LX570 - liftgate brake lights not working. Help?! (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone! Hoping for some quick help-

My 2013 LX570 brake lights on the lift gate aren’t working- the lights on the rear fenders light up when the brake is depressed and work fine. Fuses are good. Curious if anyone else has experienced this and might be able to offer some insight or tips! Thank you!

They enter the hatch through a pass through at the top and there is a gland that allows to pass into headliner. I’d check that area for damage or water intrusion.

Getting access to the lights themselves is easy. You can pull the interior hatch out, it’s three pieces and is very straightforward.
