Whats the weather usually like around that time. Temp wise ?

Depends. The past couple of years I went ( 08, 09, 10 ) it was 70ish at night ( maybe 65 ) 80-85 during the day and humid. Very similar weather to Logan's Run for us. Pretty sure it rained each of the three years as well.

My goal is to have Moonshine ready for this trip. It's about damn time I got out and wheeled her!

I've got registration reminder email and am waiting on a couple of things before I commit to registration. Moonshine needs LOTS of stuff before she's ready for CMCC, but I'm confident I can get it all done.

Tremont, PA is ~6.5 hours away from Raleigh, so not far at all.

Who all wants to go?!?!?!!! Mike, think you can get Burt ready? I know you want to go wheel with Jon, Nick, OB, Chris, Martin and those guys again :grinpimp:

I'll be up there near the end of June for the 4Runner Jamboree. Last year, it was really hot, mid-90's for the event, but that was unusually hot for the area that time of year.

Johnny, I might be able to make this with Burt. May just take Sandy. I'm still getting the little things put together and trying to save up for driveshafts.

Is this going to prevent any of you guys from doing the Hurricane Creek trip the previous weekend?

I'll rephrase. Are we going to get a low turnout for the Hurricane Creek trip, becuase everyone's planning on making the trip up to PA?

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't know where / what hurricane Creek is.

Hi-jack <on>

I think this is the trail that is accessed directly from I-40 just West the easternmost rest area on 40 westbound before you cross into TN. I have seen the trail / road there for years, but have never had the time to investigate it.

If this is it, I may be up for a trip there, but that is the weekend before I head to CO ...

Hi-jack <off>

Nobody reads the schedule...

I do read the schedule and did again before asking what Hurricane Creek was. In searching the forum, I've only found passing references, no trail reports or anything. Let's start a new thread for that trip instead of further cluttering this one.

Back on track!!!

What does everyone want / need to get done for the trip to CMCC?? I need to do armor, install a front driveline, possibly put in a new front axle, etc. Lots of s*** to do!

Yah. I have no idea what or where hurricane creek is.
My 60 will be ready to roll for CMCC and I don't mind taking a passenger but he or she will have to supply their own shelter. Unless it's a really hot she of course. If by some miracle Burt is ready I'll take her and most likely tow her there.

When do we NOT clutter up a thread? :) I know some of us talked about an expedition style ride in the BOD forum that Mr. Free might be up for leading. Starting new thread now...

Hijack off...

I just registered and I'm taking Burt. I need to hook up a hydraulic lock on my brake system but all else is ready. Who else is going and should we coordinate a convoy?

Does your ebrake not work?

I'm registered, so is Martin.
