My vehicle is in excellent shape except for the driver seat. whoever owned it wore something that damaged the seat and I'd like to replace it with same or similar leather covers. Anyone know of a source ? I honestly hav not checked to see if Lexus supplies them. Ed

For 470s, there are leather seat bottom replacement covers on e bay for $180 or so. Not sure if 460s have the same choices.

What color and do you have standard leather or semi-aniline?

So the question is: how much is your first born male child worth?
Or do you have an arm and a leg you're not really needing??

Kids not enthused about the trade and at my age I need both arms and legs. I found some leather aftermarket covers for significantly less at 2010-2019 Lexus GX460 Custom Real Leather Seat Covers (Front) Ed

I wonder about....

Fit?

How well do stock ventilated seats work?

Will it match the headrest and backside of seat?

Nice looking GSP, do you hunt it?

I had a serious cervical spine surgery a few years ago so rifles/shotgun are no longer allowed. I still let him hunt ! He's five now and really is a joy to have home and field. Grouse just flushed.

Looks like you can order some samples

I'll order the perforated samples in black to see how they match up. Thanks for the help. Ed

AND it looks like the covers are perforated, so if one has the seat cooling, it'll still work! 👍
And the price is reasonable! Keep the kids/limbs and get new seat covers, what a deal!!
Also, it looks like they have middle seats if you ever wanted to change seat color, assuming you never use your third row seats.

Yep, and when I had my 100 series LC, replacing seat covers was beginning to be a hot topic. When doing the real leather covers form companies as mentioned above and completing removing the seat, using hog clips, stretching, etc. taking your time, at least in the photos, the seats come out looking like factory!

The samples from Lseat arrived and are postage stamp size. They do seem good color wise and the leather looks thick enough. Decision time.

Bring it on... Let's see what the verdict is!

Did you go with LSeat? debating pulling this trigger... '11 GX460--I bought the one off Amazon and it was beautiful, but not a perfect pattern match... I could do both bottoms, and be OK, though... but like the idea of all 4 parts being done to get a great match... the color sample from LSeat looks great, though.

Do you have a link to your Amazon item?

Are the seat inserts really perforated so the seat cooler fans work? And what about the seat heater that the one star review complained about, "It had no provision for adding the seat heater." Did yours fit okay with the seat heater and this reviewer just had a different model seat cover or something?

soooo---that is MY review. the cover was beautiful--but it was "too" different without me buying another one for the passenger.

the original seat cover has the heater attached--when I removed it, the new seat did not have the cloth tabs to mount the heater back to...

the perforations are great--it really looked like it should work great with the seat vents...

thing is, for the price of two bottoms from Amazon, I just pulled the trigger on all four pieces from Lseat($418 shipped.)

I found a local guy that will do the install for me, my only fear is having to cut the new backs to fit around the RSES.
