Cheers

I'm off of 18 in Whitman. Got to drive through Weymouth to get to work.

I'm off of Rt53 in Norwell. I don't see many older LC's around - I hope to see you guys....

BTW - great idea on the run. I'll try to participate next year!

I do my wrenching in Hanover mostly. What are you driving? You would have to define older here... I have a 80 series and I think that considered a new truck in this club.

so the guy in front of me is driving a Tacoma pick up. We're about a couple hunfdered yards into th edirt road and he pulls up short. Gets out of the truck and picks up a drive shaft and tosses it in the back of the bed.

I'm thinking, pretty cool he sees it and is willing to take it of the trail and dispose of it properly.

Another 100 yards up he pulls up again and gets out.

This time he reaches in for that drive shaft and carries it over to a Jeep guy who pulled off the trail and was under his truck.
Cool story dude.

"Ha ha ha so true dude."

Not a bad thing just saying. Though the fancy pant fj's are clearly newer.

Funny line of that day by Rick

Trail leader: "Well that's the end of the trail ride, we have to turn back around to get the broken down trucks."
Rick: "Shouldn't be hard to find your way back on the trail, just follow the path of jeep sized crumbs you left behind."

That's great. I'll bet the trail leader had a big, black JK wrangler 4 door.I wheel with these guys a lot, and we're always fixing his brand new jeep. Not once have we ever had to work on my Cruiser or Fran's Tacoma.

They were talking about your rig, and how you just "Tank" over everything. It was a good time, I'm hoping maybe it can become bigger next year with a different venue.
Yes the JK was trail leader, I'm not a big JK fan but I do like his. Would like to see it on some tougher stuff, seems capable.

i was behind you and i was wondering what the hold up was at times than i realized we were waiting on the jeep in front!!

So how is the 2011 schedule looking?

Fall Gathering! Thats it.

We won't know much till we have a new BOD. We also snag trail dates from the NEA in March if I'm not mistaken?

Right, we've made our first pick with NEA and reserved trails for the FG. Second round of picks is later.
Kina may be hosting the Solstice run again this year.
Gary may do the Vermont run again.
NEA does a snow run in Feb.
Stock runs can be set up by anyone who knows the Class 6 roads and has some
ambition.

Is anyone thinking of doing the NEA snow run????????????

So we have the dates for the FG already? Sweet!
Would love if Gary would do the VT run again. That was a great time, thanks again for doing that.
I am in the middle of buying some pretty complex software/hardware that should make alot of the class 6 roads easier. to find/stay on.
