Opening our house pre and post run. If a few folks want to head down sat night we have a spare room, a sectional couch, a aerobed and plenty of floor space! I live 20 minutes from the meeting spot. If people would like we can go back to my house for Beer and some football. Rick said he would whip up some of his famous ribs and we are willing to whip up some burgers and dogs as well.
I just ask, if you want to attend send me a pm by Wed. so we have a idea of numbers.
Lets give some needy kids a great christmas!

Thanks,
Bob

Hey Bob, where exactly is south shore? Were thinking we will take you up on that offer for sat night maybe.

It's 20-25 minutes south of Boston. Pretty easy to get to from the highway. I live in Whitman, MA 02382.

Ok, you can count me in for saturday night, well crash on floor, assuming my girl can get next day off. My brother lives in Boston and my sis so I can get chance to see them, maybe bring my bro on toys for tots run!

Sounds good, We will be home at 7:30pm. I have a Christmas party to go to before. Glad you can make it bud!

Hey Julian, thanks for making it down. Would definately host again. Again Rick thanks for the ribs, they were amazing!

Nice Work Guys! How was the run itself? Did you fill the trailer?

Cheers,
Scott

no the trailer wasn't full but it was a big trailer. The run was two class 6 roads that any stock truck could do.

If you look at the pics the one in the parking lot was everyone heading out to the trails. The other one on theroad was the people who made it through the first leg. Pretty high attrition rate to say the least.

The ride was fun, the wheeling however was not challenging. What made it fun though was a group of like minded people coming together with the intention of giving less fortunate families a better holiday.
The NEA4WDC's trailer is large!

We didn't fill it but it will give us a goal for next year. They were much closer than last year though!

so the guy in front of me is driving a Tacoma pick up. We're about a couple hunfdered yards into th edirt road and he pulls up short. Gets out of the truck and picks up a drive shaft and tosses it in the back of the bed.

I'm thinking, pretty cool he sees it and is willing to take it of the trail and dispose of it properly.

Another 100 yards up he pulls up again and gets out.

This time he reaches in for that drive shaft and carries it over to a Jeep guy who pulled off the trail and was under his truck.

It's a Jeep thing, we wouldn't understand.
