Looks like my 16yr old daughter & I will be joining you. I'll have a chainsaw and gloves. We're departing from you guys at the Sourdough saddle and returning home Sat eve. (she has other commitments for Sun) See you at the O'Brien Store @ 10 on Sat morning

So I was planning on going to SD on Friday and camping Saturday... I thought we were running the trail backward on Sunday and cleaning up then....

Last two years we've run the trail on Sat....

Better to do it on Sat. Worst case scenario, we run out of time, we can clean it up on Sun if needed. If we run out of time on Sun, we're SOL.

Anyway, six to one, half a dozen on the other.

If we really want to run it backwards on Sun I have no probs with that. I wouldn't be able to get to Sourdough on Fri anyway since the has to work until about 6:30 PM.

Isn't last year when you got the stick in your tire while we ran it backwards? Or am I confusing it with another trip down there? My heads not on too straight right now so anything is possible.

If we want to do it backwards, I have no problem with that. Just someone needs to make the call. Not like anyone else has suggested a plan of attack yet.

So I've already been planning to run the same as last year. I'm going to run into SD on Friday and was planning on wheelin' out Sunday with the club. We had decided to go out Sunday in the past because the trail is quite different going backward. This allows us to enjoy the trail both directions and also allows those that can go out early the ability to still wheel with the club but also enjoy extra time at the camp area. I don't see why we proposed a change particularly this close to the event.

I have spoken with G Double as well as Ty and they are okay with keeping the run on Sunday as we have done in the past. Please post up any feedback so that I can figure out whether or not I will be attending the actual run this year or not. If it is decided to go in on Saturday I don't think it will be worth the additional time for me to bomb out from SD first thing in the AM on Saturday to attend...

My only concern is having enough time on Sun to clean up the trail. But I have no problems with doing it on Sun.

For those wanting to bomb into Sourdough, same times and locations on Sat.

If we are changing the trail run and clean up to Sunday somebody needs to contact Jeff. We just need to make it official on what we are doing.

Okay so we have about twenty four hours or so to decide what's going to happen. I'm obviously for the clean up on the way out Sunday but don't want to be dictatorial. As for the time concern I'd rather have a day run a bit longer and then go home and sleep in my own bed than have it run too long and then have to set up camp and figure out food...

Sorry guys, Not trying to be wishy washy. I took Friday off, so was planning on 3days. Im completley flexible without preference, other than not really wanting to drive the entire weekend back and forth. Just want to help, and relax at SD.
