2010 lx570 headlight lens replacement

Anyone try to replace just the outer headlight lenses? I see them listed on ebay. Did the restoration thing and it's only so so

post up the ebay link I haven't seen any quality replacements for the early LX570's for under $1100

I blanched at the cost of OEM assemblies, so I tried the $20 Cerakote brand kit from WalMart. 90 minutes of work with their kit fixed 85% of the yellowing. It is far better than the old 3M headlight restoration kit I tried years ago on a different vehicle. If I stare closely, I can see some waviness in the newly crystal-clear outer lens, but this doesn't seem to impact function at night and is not casually observable. The part of the outer lens that wraps around to the side was the most yellowed by UV rays. It is much improved, but is still slightly cloudy. The front is not perfect, but it's darn close. 2011 LX570.

I have 13 lx and have not located any oem headlight. Let us know if you find a source that is reasonable.

I used the kit below and spent also about 90 minutes.

It is holding up ok. Will have to do it again in a year or two.
