OK... I think I may have found it.
Starting in 2014 Toyota started specifying the turning circle as, "Wall to Wall" instead of "Curb to Curb" on the GX, but not the T4R.
A turning circle of curb to curb is going to be tighter than wall to wall. With wall to wall you start hitting the front fenders, maybe mirrors etc.
I suspect that all GX460's have the same real turning radius or circle, just the terminology changed.
