There will be a lot of events and non-events in 2009. A lot of last year's events will be seeing a new look this year, with the non-event and Southern Cruiser Crawl moving to Superlift OHV in Hot Springs, AR.

Most of us will make these events and everyone in DixieLand Cruisers is always welcome to join our members that attend these events.

Smokey Mountain Cruisers (SMC) - Coal Creek Cruiser Crawl II - Windrock/Coal Creek OHV - August 1-2, 2009

SMC puts on several great rides a year and this one should be no different. For more information:

Upstate Cruisers - Over the Mountain Tour - Windrock/Coal Creek OHV - August 20-23, 2009

Upstate Cruisers will be holding their Over the Mountain Tour this year at Coal Creek. So, if you miss the SMC Coal Creek Cruiser Crawl, heck, you can make this ride!

Memphis Mafia - Under the Bridge Tour - Memphis, TN (Metro) - Labor Day Weekend

The UTBT is held Labor Day Weekend in Memphis, TN. This is one of the premiere rides of the Mid-South! I went last year and the trails along the Wolf River in Greater Memphis makes this one of the more challenging rides of the year. The Memphis Mafia put on a great trip last year and this year will bring even more! How many slabs will you need?

Registration will be available soon.

CottonLand Cruisers - Southern Cruiser Crawl - Superlift OHV - Hot Springs, AR - October 9-11, 2009

The Southern Cruiser Crawl has moved for 2009 to the Superlift OHV park in Hot Springs, AR. I am sure many of you are disappointed by the move, but don't let this discourage you from attending this year's event. I have not been to Superlift, but I hear the trails have a lot more to offer than Grayrock. Superlift has more trails and a wider variety of trails for all different levels of driving, including more moderate to easier trail than Grayrock. Also, the facilities are far more superior!

We will probably caravan over to Hot Springs for this ride on Thursday, October 8th from the Birmingham area. I would like to see a large turnout for this year's event!

UPDATE: Band on Friday night!

More 2009 TLCA Events can be found by clicking here.

I will do my best to keep this thread current throughout the year.

If you are a DixieLand Cruiser member and you are attending a ride that is not posted here, let me know and I will add it.

Would you happen to have a list of Alabama trails?

There isn't a list of trails or at least a list that I know of for Alabama. Since Alabama is mostly privately owned land; you will have to look to OHV parks (Morris Mountain, Grayrock, Stony Lonesome, etc.) or WMAs. The Skyline Ride is actually held in a WMA. The permit is free, but you have to have it with you.

Here is a list of ORV parks:ORV Websites
Hope this insn't old news
