Unfortunately the directions are not great. Taking apart the dash and pulling the head unit is simple. However after taking out the 12 pin adapter from the rear of the CD changer and attaching the one from the adapter I cannot it to work. Odd. The 12 pin that was in the radio should likely hook to the Y adapter supplied with the kit but does not fit. So I am in a pickle. Can get it to work. May have to button it all back up and come back at it another day with a different connection. Anyone have any experience with this adapter and whether I am hooking it up right? There is no other 12 pin connection on the head unit so it needs to hook in here but I am thinking the lack of functionality comes from the original 12 pin not fitting into the other end of the Y adapter from the kit. Any thoughts are appreciated.
