I bought this 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser a few months ago, and the only reason I'm interested in selling it is to get the family budget back to one car payment.
After I bought it, I replaced the factory running boards (included in the sale) with a set of All-Pro Offroad standard duty rock sliders, and added four new Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx tires in 255/80R17. (The tire design is a great one--a good all purpose offroad tread, but very quiet on the highway with excellent handling). I have not gotten around to buying a matching spare yet, but it does have a brand new Nitto Trail Grappler M/T on the spare tire carrier.
It had just under 99,000 miles on it when I bought it from a local dealership and I've added only a few hundred miles since then. It’s currently at 99,500. I drive it daily, though not very far, so the mileage will increase. It runs like a sewing machine and has no mechanical problems whatsoever. All accessories work as they should. It has a few minor cosmetic issues, including some trail pinstriping from an outing soon after I bought it (so you won't have to cringe when you add some of your own). These are minor problems though...the truck looks great!
It is equipped with a rear locker and ATRAC. The interior is in very good condition. The previous owner installed an aftermarket amplifier and Kenwood head unit (now a few years old) that includes a DVD player and Garmin navigation system, both of which work like new. The CB and ham radio equipment that is pictured is not included in the sale.
Sale price is $18,000. I will have to pay the finance company before I can get the title to you--probably a ten day process. I’m happy to send additional photos, or meet with you so that you can inspect it.
