Hey gang! I will be collecting Emergency Contact information from all participants. I have my data sheet from the run last October, so if you need to update the info you gave me, or did not attend the fall run PLEASE PM ME YOUR ICE INFO.
In Case of Emergency information needed:
Driver Full Name | Passenger Full Names | cell phone number | Emergency Contact Full Name | contact's phone number(s) | relation to driver/passengers
It is also a good idea to keep a printed copy of this information in your glove box.
Since I will not be there for Friday's trail ride, please listen for safety related details from Marshall, JP and the other trail leaders.
I have no doubt we will have a trouble free weekend on the trails, at least nothing that our club members can't handle.
One thing I was reminded of when looking back through my photos - it was pretty gusty on top of the balds. I would recommend we prepare the fire rings if there is no fire ban. For starters, let's shovel out the firepits and leave that removed material handy to put back on the firepit when we are breaking it down later. Someone please have their shovel handy during all times the fire is lit. Also use whatever rocks are available to contain the firepit and shield the surrounding ground.
Other safety notes formulated from the last trip
:
Make sure Jason has his headlamp on, if it's after midnight.
Don't let Dan drink any rum.
Can't wait to 'Whee
