Why do you have the same pictures as the other add for one that was sold in GA?

Am I off on pricing? I thought I would have had a ton of interest given the price at which these are trading new. Is there concerned this isn't a legit listing because I used pics from the listing where I bought it? If so take notice of the first picture. It shows the tail end of my 80 which is in my profile. Anyway... you guys let me know any of your thoughts.

the ad from when you bought it out of GA shows that was like 10 years ago, a lot of wear and tear happens in 10 years. You wouldn't buy a 10 year old car if the ad only showed photos from when it was new... Update the photos, might get some more interest. Little bit of effort can go a long way

Well.... that and that the OP may have sold the trailer for $8k OBO... and now it's listed for nearly twice that... oh... and you get the original steel wheels and likely 10+ year old tires. Such a deal.

Also, as previously mentioned.... 10 years is 10 years... what maintenance, other than lack of use, has gone into the trailer/tent/canvas?

There was one of their bigger trailers for sale in NC not long ago for $4500. I think the pricing is fairly high to answer your question.

Price reduction. $9500

Shortly after posting this I guess my account got hacked, or attempted hack, whatever. Anyway... I got locked out. Then I got super deep into Leadville 100 training and work. Circling back to get this thing sold.

OK! So... I should have posted newer pics. I was going to do that today but it stormed in Dallas during the window I had to pull it out and shoot pics. I'll get those up.

In response to one of the posts above. The trailer has simply not been used very much. I bet 10-15 nights since I got it. And nothing rough at all. There's nothing wrong with the tent that I can tell. No holes. No tears etc. The floor in the tent is still great. The ladder was a little hard to get in and out of the fittings when we got it. It's gotten harder but it still works fine. But its got wear on it. Its not new or in "like new" condition. But I would not hesitate for 1 second to pull it out on another adventure.

I thought the originals wheels were in my warehouse. They were not. So I just bought these new steel wheels like the orginal and put these tires on them. The only miles they have on them are from the installation shop to my warehouse. I tested the fridge today and it works great.

And I guess I overshot price. Seemed like people have been paying crazy prices for overland trailers. Anyway... I think $9500 is fair given what new trailers cost or the work required to build anything near this robust. I find most of the comments from this community to be helpful. If you'd like to respectfully suggest a further pricing revision I'm all ears.

Additional info:
  • I have the other propane can for the back. I failed to notice it missing when pulling home for pics.
  • I modified the spare tire carrier with addition of receiver hitch used for bike rack.
  • You'll notice a steel plate on the front of the cargo box just under the tent. That is the pivot point of a Yakima bike rack that I am happy to include with the sale. Or the buyer can remove the plate by removing the bolts. (Not welded to trailer)
  • Lock n Roll offroad hitch installed.
  • Better swinging/telescoping trailer leg attached. Steel plate welded to trailer frame at point for added strength will small angle and bolt holes for accessory attachment.
  • Hubs serviced at time of Land Cruiser wheel installation. Less than 2000 miles sense then.
