Hi,

Please help!
My previous post didn’t get any response so here I am again hoping someone would give me an advice because I don’t know if the dealer is asking way too much or it’s just a right price. The dealer is asking $25,995 and I’m about to check this out on Wednesday tomorrow in person and I have zero clue what to check.
We might fall in love and just end up sign the paper together with wife.

I think ALL Mr. T 4WD products are overpriced right now.

I just spoke to one of the guys there, he said that they got this LC from a company and have record of history of the maintenance from Toyota dealer.

Go see the truck, drop a refundable deposit if you are interested. Hit up your local Clubhouse and offer food/beer to someone knowledgeable about Hundys and meet him/her there to scrutinize it closer with an experienced set of eyes.

Now my only questions is, do you think a 2006 LC a good year to own? Thank you I’m advance

If you have the VIN number, you can register for an account on the Toyota owners website and look at the history yourself. Based on the fender flares, it was likely sold originally in the Southeastern US. If they're not your cup of tea, you can remove them but expect the paint to be scratched up a bit where the flare and the paint meet. It's missing the end caps off the roof rack on the passenger side (I don't believe those are sold separately based on WTB posts I've seen through the years) and the rear wind deflector is broken off. It also doesn't have AHC, which is my preference.

As far as the interior goes, the dark inserts in the seats are custom. I'd want to confirm the seat heaters are still functional, the quality looks ok, and you're ok with how they look.

You didn't give us mileage or anything about the service history (does it need a timing belt?) so I'm shooting from the hip, but that's more than I'd want to pay for this one. The market is bat s*** crazy, but I'd expect a very solid 100 for $26k. That said, if it speaks to you, it's not rusty underneath, and the body is straight, negotiate it down a few thousand and start making it your own.

Also, '06s are the bees knees brother. AHC is the hydraulic adjustable suspension that became optional on the LC in 2006 (was standard in the LX).

It's the hydraulic suspension that comes on the LX470. A lot of 2006 and 2007 Land Cruisers had them optioned as well.
Is AHC a good thing? By the way , the guy there also told me I can have the 2009 200 series for a little more and I’m not sure what to do probably my wife would pick the 2009 instead.

Depends on whether it's working correctly and if your plans include adding a lift.

It sounds like you have some research to do. Of course your wife will want the 200, it's going to be nicer and newer.

Thank you so much for the info. I also did think $26k is too much because there’s another LC on Craigslist that is posted for $12k, it’s a private seller but 2001 and zero history of maintenance record so it’s kind of risky. I prepare bone stock and I wanted the best year 100 series so I thought may be it’s worth a shot to take this 2006 and seeing the seat not original and hearing that there’s no AHC may be $26k really isn’t the right price.

might want to check this one also ( no AHC, no MFD )
I think this one is better than the white one thank you for sharing, I’ll give them a call tomorrow to set up a schedule. Does AHC worth the money? I’ll be driving this mostly for camping and fishing only nothing heavy off road.
