Update - 4/16/21
Worked on the pulsating brakes this past weekend. Narrowed it down to the rear and found seized lower pins on the caliper bracket. Ordered all new pins and boots for both sides as well as Bosch pads. Well, put it all back together and the damn pulsation is still there! Decided to order new rotors. If that isn't it, I will be going back to the drawing board. Maybe a slightly stuck piston??? Doesn't seem likely though. Other than that, she is running well, albeit the gas mileage!

Update 4/25/21
Pulsating rear brakes solved. Replaced the rotors with Bosch units. No more pulsation so must have been a warped rotor. Installed King Springs on the rear and am pleased at the ride so far. Took a trip and noticed the wallowing in the rear is gone and the vehicle feels more stable and confidence inspiring. I have yet to hook up Techstream to view the new pressure in the rear, but it almost assuredly is lower. I think at this point the vehicle is sorted to my liking. The only thing left I would like to do is pack the front wheel bearings. Looking forward to camping season!

Update 6/10/21
Hello all, over the last couple of weeks I have been just enjoying her in the mountains camping and exploring. I did tear into the front hubs and clean, inspect, and re-pack the front bearings. I replaced seals and a few other items while I was in there. The brake pads were replaced when I was buttoning everything up. I was randomly missing retaining springs for the pads and replaced both with new units. Lastly, the front end-link bushings were shot so I replaced those. That was helpful and removed some front end small bump harshness. At this point, not much else to add. Anything I do now will be one-off upgrades if necessary. Get out there and enjoy!

Wow, last time I updated this was 2021! Well, 3-4k in parts later I am pretty much done and happy with where I am at. The last touch was a slight sensor lift to get it closer to leveling out. I can't tell you how much I didn't enjoy doing the steering rack myself. I really wish I had an extra arm when I was putting it back in and aligning it with steering arm to the box. I also got a great deal on the Tundra TRD wheels and wrapped them in the KO3's. Much quieter than my old KO2's. Still a gas-guzzling tank but quiet and will survive the impending apocalypse. I hope all is well in the land of 100's and let me know if anybody has any questions as I think I have touched just about everything on this hog at this point.

Enjoy.
