UPDATE....

FOR ME ONLY....its gonna be a negative on this rig.

Scratches on hood that seller said he would negotiate to fix. I then found more scratches along PS doors. The tag and reverse light piece is loose due to a small broken bracket. The left front fender is out of whack about 1/4" for some reason. The armrest was painted and who knows what else.

So.....for being a rig for my wife.....I'm gonna pass

Goes to show nothing beats seeing and driving one of these in person! On paper and in the pics, this LX looks like it's in showroom condition.

Any undercarriage rust?

I did not see any rust at all.

BTW, what is the black square to the right of radio? Some type of remote thingy?

I believe you're talking about the passenger airbag indicator.

JLB, yes I agree. I noticed that up close today.

First take sure did appear to be a fine LX470.
Would you take it at a lower price and fix those issues?

I'm not sure what the cost would be to paint the hood and right side of vehicle so I didn't even make an offer. Normally I would use those imperfections as negotiate bait but for me that was too big of a bite.

Patience with this one is probably wise. But, when you find a nice one, don't hesitate.

UPDATE again....

After I made my first visit to see the '06 LX and told the guy I wouldn't even make an offer due to the numerous scratches, I noticed the ad for the LX disappeared. I texted him to see if he sold it or what. He said he was getting the scratches repaired so I kept in touch. A week and half later the work was completed. I went back to look at it. The bad scratches were gone and painted. Small normal wear scratches are here and there.

He said the price to me at $16800 was the same but he would go up on anyone else due to his unforeseen costs.....paint work, new battery, $75 roof rack end cover, etc. I negotiated it down to $16,300 and drove it home. It is not perfect but so far it appers to be a good deal. I could tell the leather was touched up. I'm not familiar with how they do that but hopefully it will last. My wife likes it. She is worthy of a brand new LX570 but can't make that happen just yet.

Congrats! I think you stole it - looks like the baby in your fleet? Love Cypress Pearl!

There are so many people looking for these trucks that if you had not bought it, someone else would
have quickly snatched it up.

I agree. Not easy to find.

good find. and great price.

Great deal. I was going to say even without the fixes it was a great price point to be at as long as mechanically sound, but you were there and smart decision to stay with your gut initially. Easy to get caught up in the greatness of these rigs. Obviously your patience worked out great for ya in the end. Absolutely love ours, enjoy!
