Hey guys, been lurking like crazy here and other places, but can’t seem to find an answer to this question.

My in laws own this cruiser and it’s been parked for a while because they can’t figure out why all the tail lamps are out. It’s only drivable during the daylight.

The headlamps, turns, brakes all work fine. The tail, trailer tow fuses have no voltage at the box under the hood. I can’t figure out why. I suspected the switch or a short, but no power exists at the fuse, so there is no way to blow one.

To make matters worse, wiring diagrams show the circuit powered from the ignition, which runs through a relay before the fuse. My issue is I have no idea where the relay is. I suspect it’s bad, and I would like to change it.

Anyone encountered this issue before or able to point me in the right direction. Even if I had to bypass the relay and hard wire the parking and rails to a manual switch that would be an improvement over what we have now.

I’m sort of at a standstill, and I feel like I can save them some money if I can just figure out what’s going on.

I could sure use some help on this one. Thanks!

A customer of mine had the same issue, turns out it was a bad dimmer switch. (The rolling wheel thingie ) unplugged that and his tail light works. Not sure if it’ll help you but it worked for him
