I put some RF prime speakers in the rear of my 06. I don't know how I like them. I'm putting in a JL amp tonight. So I will find out if I really don't like them or not. There's a slight chance I blow them, in which case I won't feel bad about spending so little on them. They sound fine with the OEM amp. Just not good. IMHO. I wish I would have bought something rated for higher watts for the rear.
I'm getting sidetracked. Looking at your link, right below where they say this is what other people have looked at, is this
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018Y7LSN8?psc=1 if I did it again I'd go with this, all four sets. cheap, 90 watt rated etc.

Get 4 or 6 ohm sets and don't worry so much about it. Most are all 4 ohm.
I think it's a better idea to spend good money on front sets. That is what you should be hearing anyway. I put regular stuff in rear fill spaces, like RF prime. The prime RF's aren't rated very high so that makes me nervous.
I'm installing an amp. So I don't know. I hate compromising, but you have to choose your battles. 5 years from now this truck won't be worth 10k so I plan accordingly.

I'm going cheap with a jl class d, infinity components front, RF prime rear, leave stock sub, leave stock amp powering the sub. install JL 400 class d/4 to front and rear. Stock HU and dice media bridge 1500 toy. About $420 not including wire.

If you need pictures or info on what's where I've spent about three days labeling and wiring. If you want pictures from the EWD i can help also. I'm waiting for ups to bring me an amp.

Some good info on this thread Affordable speaker upgrade

Also, regardless of whether or not you end up buying from them, I highly recommend doing an online chat with the people at crutchfield.com, they're incredibly helpful for relevant questions pertaining to your specific needs and desires (vehicle, make, model, year, type of upgrades desired, etc, etc).

@jerryb thanks for the advice about the OHM crutch field said the same that it doesn't matter and won't effect it that much. You'll just have a little drop off on volume is all. I'm not going as far as you i'm going to just have the factory amp run it as I have a land cruiser with the navigation. I'm not so sure how much I want to spend on picture i can imagine the rockford fosgates will be a major upgrade who knows.

@benjawi4 I saw these thread i've read through it. I"m just curious if anyone has upgrade after market speakers left current stock amp and had an improve in sound that makes you happy to offload to?
