Team 120,

After 200k miles what kind do the GX470s get into? We had a 2003 GX and never had any issues. I know all about 100 series and have had multiple with over 250k miles. Similar, less, way more and what are some of the big things to look out for? I handle most minor repairs myself. Thank you in advance.

Mostly the same. The 100 and GX470 share the same engine and transmission. So common. Add in the front services (IFS is different between them) so the GX is a little easier to maintain. Wheel bearings are bolt on swaps in a GX vs a rebuild. Steering is a little more robust in the 100 (rack leaks) but they seem to have the same sort of problems. The rest is just wear and tear. A stock GX will likely start having issues with driveshafts and rear diffs giving at that mileage as well (8" rear diff is notorious).
