Dear Mud,
My 2005 LX470 has a Non-ML audio configuration. It has the standard Pioneer 7 speaker system. I recently noticed some of my speakers getting weak. No odd cracking sounds. But I guess after this much years in hot dry climate, the speaker foams might have disintegrated. I am having a hard time in finding my actual speaker sizes(without opening the door card). I checked with simply speakers with part numbers. They replied they do not provide repair kits for this model. Checked crutchfield, found conflicting sizes. Even checked AI, no trusted info. I understand front is a 2-way component and rear is a full range. These are 3.2ohm speakers, my stock amp is having 3.2ohm front 3.2ohm rear and 3.2ohm cargo area woofer channels. The speakers comes in similar ported enclosures. I’m not sure whether they are 6.5” or 5.25” or 6” or 4”.

Speaker part numbers:
Front : 86150-60061
Rear: 86150-60071
Cargo Area woofer: 86150-60051

Kindly help me identify my speaker sizes, so that I could order a refoam kit for them. At this moment, I plan to keep it stock and not looking for replacing with aftermarket. Amp photo below:

Edit: speaker part numbers corrected.

Happened to open up door cards to check. Confirmed both front and rear door speakers are 5.25”. Along with the 3- hole bracket, it measures close to 6in. Woofer in the cargo area is probably 6”. To my surprise, both front and rear door speaker surrounds were in good condition. The foam isn’t disintegrating. However there is a stupid hole on the front speaker cone. Now out of ideas. Rear looked fine, yet it sounds worse than front. As per other threads, rear was a full range speaker with integrated tweeter. But I found mine looked exactly similar to front except for the part number.

This isn’t going to be a foam surround repair. Thinking about how to improve sound without major surgery.
One thing I noticed: foam roll out width is smaller than that of Mark levinson or JBL ones. But the material is much stronger.
