Taking a look at this tomorrow. I set up the appointment but am no longer in the market but still wanted to take a look in person.

Please let us know what you think regarding the 100 in Jax. I’m in the market (have to sell my 62 first). I’m couple hours west from Jax. Thanks

So, a little disappointing.

The good: it's a 2005 with 5speed..
AC works well. Nav seems functional.
Rust free rig. Very little surface rust. Dry no leaks.

The bad: far from a beauty queen. Rough on the outside. Not a trail only rig but def rough. Trim pieces falling off around the vehicle. Looks like the PO tried to super glue one of the fender flares back on and the backing pealed off and stuck on the paint. Passenger side one looks like it's either down to basecoat or the white backing is baked into the paint.

Seats, torn up. Passenger side completely split.

NAV. Enough said

Radiator recently replaced. Pointing to possible cooling system failure and overheating. Can't tell

Timing belt sticker not present. Awaiting records to show if it's been done twice.

Lots of play in steering column, like up and down not when turning the wheel.

Not in anyworld worth asking price. If I made an offer it'd be around half of asking price. Also possible sketchy situation where he's selling it for a friend. Don't like those types of sales.

Sorry, thought I possibly had a good one for a MUD member

Man. Thanks a bunch. Sounds like I’m gonna pass on that one and keep looking. Appreciate the thorough inspection and write up. Saved me a drive over. Take care

Ive seen trucks look awesome in pictures and then in person looking really rough. That said if a truck looks rough in pictures you know its going to look really bad in person. LOL

Btw, 2005 LCs didnt come with AHC so they all will be non-AHC units. AHC for the Land Cruiser didnt pop up until 2006 as an option most were equipped with.

Good to know, my LC knowledge is based around my 2000

Share the 80 if you decide against it or buy it. Have a good weekend.

Was the LQ4 V8 converted 80 in the Mud classifies. Still available.. Part time 4WD upgrade and factory lockers. Someone needs to grab that quick. Ended up with a GX 470 instead, it'll be my DD so 80 didnt make too much sense besides drooling over the solid front axel and V8 combo

The play in the steering column is likely a bad bushing. I replaced mine a few years ago. 10 dollars and 20 minutes. I made a post on it if you can find it.
