Went to check that one out a few month ago. Owner is a real nice guy, and the LC is clearly well cared for.

Ended up getting an '01 though because who wants a LC that you're going to be worried about off-road? The propane tank replaces the spare tire, which is great for a city truck - but not much use anywhere else....

I had considered this vehicle myself... But yes I would have concerns off-road... What happens if the tank gets damaged in the backcountry? Yikes. Low mileage and seems clean. Back then he wanted $25k, I offered $20k and he said he'd take $23k. I wonder if he'd go lower now...

Plus, the power must suck especially while towing, and we tow with ours currently. I wonder if it's even possible to have a hitch on it if the tank is sitting where the spare was. I'd be curious to know that.

I think it had a hitch on it, but I'm not positive. I remember talking to him about towing.

The propane system is apparently pretty good. I called around a bit, and the one mechanic I talked with seemed positive. The system can switched on or off, so you can go full gas for startup or when you want max power and propane when you want...

Has anyone who has looked at this truck inquired who did the conversion?? Professional shop or did he do it himself?

Pictures don't tell the whole story...should be a dual fuel with a toroidal tank...completely safe for off road in the research I have done.

I have been considering this conversion on my Tacoma, but, a Cruiser already done with only 76K would be perfect for the family.
