2004 LX 470 with 273k (1 owner awesome service)

What should I check for regarding proper maintenance and future preventative maintenance? The Carfax shows excellent Lexus service with no accidents the body, paint, interior all look good. What is a fair price?

What type of front and rear bumpers should I consider to give it a unique look? What about tire size and brand?

I have not seen any mass produced bumpers that look "good" on the 100 series. There are some that individual members have made that look good. Just do a 2" OME lift and some Slee sliders.

Thanks for the suggestion, do you have any pics? The ARB bumpers are $1495 plus installation so that seems high but I'm new to this type of market? Maybe do the lift and tires and sliders and add the brush guard up front?

I would still go with a real bumper with the riser tubes. A Westin-variety brush guard wouldn't fare too well in a bout with a daring deer.

Lots of threads on this. In minor collisions, a brush guard can turn what would be an inexpensive headlight/bumper cover/grille repair into a pricy one involving body work on the hood/fender.

If you like the look, go for it, but don't expect it to serve any functional purpose. I had one on a Land Rover years ago. It was useless.

They're Cooper's more aggressive AT than the AT3.

My apologizes, I thought you were saying bumper without vs bumper with guard. Not some bolt on brush guard.
