Well life's been busy so little time at home to tinker with the Cruiser.

Did fit a billet aluminium gear stick knob which is a solid lump of metal and a great feel to it. It is actually made by Bearmach for Landrovers but fits a treat.

I have a fair amount of stuff to bolt in once I get a bit of spare time. Hopefully more can be ready before our planned trip in August

You got me there, what beach is that? Looks like Safety Bay or Warnbro.

Its the Pond, just by Penguin Island so its a tad North of Warnbro so I guess Safety Bay. All the suburbs there are skinny heading towards the beach.

I'm feeling old as most people cant remember that most of south of here was a bombing range

Oh I got a new hoodie also

Started fitting the rear winch. Wasn't sure the rear winch tray would fit but all good. Have to drill 2 holes which will be a pain later. The winch needs some love though. Clutch is seized but it's now in the kitchen sink soaking in wd40

and more. Will have to get a rebuild kit from the states. Anyone got a repair/parts manual for a xd9000 or xd8000?

Is that full of beach sand and salt water? I thought ARB stocked the XD9000 and would have parts. The dealers were fitting them to the HDJ78/79 series a few years back. Isnt that what most of the pretty boy jeeps have?

I normally deal with Warn direct as quick and cheaper than any middle man dealer. Yeah I am figuring salt water. Depending on what the clutch gear costs I might destroy this one to save the housing.

Most the jeep crowd have Chinese made stuff which equals non repairable.

Well got a 3rd winch and went to fit it in the rear tray mount but couldn't get the bolts done up because have to remove the rope for access.
