Understood -- getting free OEM from co-worker's 2022 Tacoma, so hard not to check around. Thanks.
I just did this install yesterday (2020 TRD off road shocks) for the rear. The only modification for the rear is you have to push out the metal bushing and install the Energy Suspension 9.8108G 3/4" Hourglass Shock Eye Bushing. Pushing out the metal bushing was a pain (rented a ball joint separator kit from Oreily to do this) but installing the new bushing was easy.
Old struts with the new struts (with the new bushing). It does look quite a bit skinnier so I will most likely get some 5100's for the GX if these don't ride as nice as I hoped.
