2003 Front Suspension Differences (1 Viewer)

I sold my stock front shock assemblies ('09 w/o KDSS) to someone who has and '03. They claim that the shocks do not fit, though. Does that sound right?

Here are the 2003 components.

Here are the 2009 components.

The only difference I see are the coil spring part numbers but I am not sure how that would affect anything.

I'm not sure, he just said "it does not line up." I asked him to be more specific since the shock absorber part numbers are the same for both model years. I will see what he replies.

I sure hope he doesn't try to send me his old shocks or something shady like that (ebay) as he requested expedited shipping because he "needed them right away" and I sent them to him on January 23rd.

They could bolt the bottom eyelet 180°off and the bolt pattern on top would be 60° off and not fitting.

Yeah, or maybe he's trying to put the passenger side on the driver's side. They're side specific on the link you posted.

keep a record of part numbers and specs and the information you found encase you have to prove your point to eBay
