is there anyway to bypass the feature that prevents one from using the dvd player while the vehicle is in motion?

Not that I am aware of. If you were to buy an EWD and study it you may find whatever triggers the block and be able to intercept it.

great. that's just what we need, more people doing even more stuff other than driving. Give me a break.

Not trying to come across rash, but i hope you mean so the passengers can watch while you drive. . right?

I remember reading about some way you could disable the DVD player mechanism that makes it so the DVD doesn't work while you are driving. I believe it was on 80scool. You might check their archives. I wouldn't recommend driving and watching, not even in North Dakota where nothing happens.

there is but not smart. Think shark lawyers...

Think about the Two inputs that make up the safety feature e-brake and the speed sensor circut. ;)

You need to be hit for even considering this. :slap:
