For Sale 2002 LX 470 - WA State - Maybe trade for LX450 or Sequoia?

SOLD!!! For $15,000. I know, kind of low but we found a 450 we wanted to move on.

For a number of reasons we're going to sell our LX. Mainly we want to down size in price and pick up an LX 450, or up size to a newer Sequoia.

We bought last September and are the 3rd owners. Rig spent most of its life in southern Cali as a lease and had all scheduled maint done. (Carfax and dealer verified.) Then was owned by a doctor in Salt Lake City for a couple years, who we got it from.

I'll try to do full disclosure here:
- 144k
- Fully loaded - Power everything
- NAV w/ 6 disc DVD changer
- Mark Levinson Sound (Best stock stereo I've ever heard)
- 3rd Row Seats
- AHC
- Auto folding mirrors
- Rear AC / Hear
- Tow Pkg (I just installed it.)

The Good:
- Near new tires. (Michelin's from Costco)
- All maintenance intervals were done at dealer and can be Carfax verified.
- Clean Carfax
- No accidents, no repaints
- Every electrical item works 100%
- Timing belt and water pump done at 120k
- I did a full double flush of AHC fluid last fall and AHC works perfect.
- No noises, ticks, clicks or growls.
- No major dings or dents.
- No fluid leaks.

The Bad:
- Small circular scratch on passenger front door (looks like from keys.)
- Some clear coat is peeling from the plastic portion of front bumper from rock chips and bugs (hood is virtually chip free)
- Grill cloth on driver rear speaker cover is coming off. (I may fix before selling.)
- Tan cover to center row cup holder popped off and I haven't been able to figure out how to re-attach yet.
- Passenger front window occasionally makes a little noise when going up but has always worked fine.
- A couple of the LED strips on the running boards needs new bulbs.
- Both outer CV boots have a little bit of seepage, but nothing major and the boots are still in good shape.
- Split seam on driver seat. 2" long and could be restitched most likely.

The In-Between:

- Transmission was just replaced with a used unit with 111k on it and has a 6 month unlimited mile warranty. Installed by an ASC certified mechanic friend who used to work for Toyota. Swap was done right. Cooler was flushed, screen replaced, and filled it full of Amsoil. We inspected the replacement tranny before install and the pan magnets showed excellent wear for the mileage. (You could tell they hadn't been cleaned in a long time if ever and had just a light coating of sludge. No sparklies.) You can search under my profile for posts where I've talked about the old one dying.

The vehicle only towed 180 miles total in its life (I know since I installed the tow pkg) when the old tranny went. I own a boat rental biz and need two reliable tow vehicles and the tranny fiasco basically changed my mind about having a newer LX for "work duty". (Hence wanting to get a newer Sequoia or another 80 series.)

Books for $20,500, asking Mud priced of $15,700.

Please no crazy low balls. Aside form the tranny issue, which should now be resolved, this thing has been perfect.

Dropped to $15,700. Just trying to pay off our loan so we can grab a local LX450.

Bumpity!

I just added 30 more current pics to the above link.

I've got a 450, let me know if you'd be interested in a partial trade?

Sorry, I forgot to update this with a SOLD status. I also already picked up a 450 but if I found a cleaner one with lockers I might consider getting a different one. PM me some info about yours.
