Just guessing but the market is probably a lot smaller up there than it is down in the US. Don't know anything about it personally but I would imagine there would also be some work/cost to get back it to the US if someone was going to ship it.

Yeah, not a lot of real LC folks up here other than the guys interested in the 80 series and older - the people that have been emailing about the local ad that I posted are all worried about the high mileage! I guess they don't know much about LCs...

I've dropped the price to $12,500 and talked to the folks at the Port Angeles border crossing and they don't think the importation process back into the States is a big deal. Just a matter of filling out a form (no $$ even!) because it has already been registered in the US.

My buddy that has a Jeep wouldn't consider owning one past 75k and I told him that I'm not sure I've ever seen a Land Cruiser with that few miles I said 300k for an LC is about the same as 75k for a Jeep.
