hello,

I know this Topic has been exhausted, but in trying to find a suitable wiring harness for my 2001 lx470 with the premium sound 7 speaker system, I came across this Beat-Sonic SLX-82AAD (slx82aad) Aftermarket Factory Amplifier

it seems to be a plug and play harness for non-nav,premium sound (7speaker) units such as mine. Does anyone have any experience with said harness? I couldn’t find anything in the searches. Thank you in advance.

Thank you I will look into that product now. But the thing is, I have 7 speakers well 6 plus sub and this is what it looks like in front. Says: Lexus premium sound p6809

My in dash nav is en route and will be here this weekend. It has a wiring harness with it so worst case I am solder sealing and matching wires. I haven’t opened her up yet to see what the harness looks like since my radio is working and want it to remain that way till I have my replacement. Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Ok my new nav arrived today and I popped the dash open. 20pin connector. I have cross referenced all the pinouts with the corresponding wire color and function. I have 2 dilemmas, First, the factory harness has amp(+) and amp( -) the new harness has only one wire for remote power on(amp) ? Can I ground (-) this to the truck? If not then where can I ground it? Also my illumination wires can you tie +/- together to the one wire on the new harness? And what does the secondary ground do? Is it necessary? I want to use the factory wiring. No rca outs. Any thoughts would be much appreciated

Thank you. My factory deck is a pioneer unit and I found its online manual with its pinouts. I am getting it all together now. I think I am ready to start shipping wires. One thing is can I tie both the positive and negative illumination wires together from factory harness to new harness?

Alright, after much hesitation and reading I have snipped the few wires @ the factory harness to power the new harness. Victory, I have power to the head unit! Working as factory. Now for the sound, I am bypassing the amp. I have run new speaker wires from the amp to the console. I know I need to get the factory speaker wires to my new head unit. Do I attach speaker wire to RCA? Or just go speaker wire to speaker wire? At the new headunit?
