Selling my 2001 LC100. Was going to turn it into a Colorado mountain rig, but moved to Oregon, so she has been a highway queen since. The truck is stock short of running board delete, resonator delete, replacing head unit (JVC double DIN), and replacing front speakers. Here is the notable maintenance details:
-105k purchased truck then did full 90k service-timing belt, water pump, fluid flush, etc. Began running Mobil 1 full synthetic at this time in the engine.
-when I bought the truck it had two new tires and two of varied vintage. Replaced those with 2 new. So, Michelin LTX with tons of life left all around.
-115k replaced gear oil in front diff, rear diff, and t-case with synthetic
-last year did a new steering rack at Slee before moving
-2 months ago had the tranny go, took it to Toyota of Gladstone here in Portland and had a reman unit put in along with the 125k service. New plugs, air filter, full vehicle check, etc.
This truck is in great shape, still gets 16+ mpg on the highway and with the new tranny the shifts are super smooth and firm, way better than before. Oh, and no rust anywhere, particularly underneath.
