Looking to trade for a FJ80 or FZJ80. Most preferred would be an unmolested or nicely built white FJ80. We’ve has a few 80’s over the years and love them all though. Went to a 100 body and it’s great but we wanna go back.

I have a 2001 Lx470 with 175k miles. Timing belt don’t February 2019. OME lift and color matched ARB front bumper with 9.5 smitty built winch. New catalytic converters. New Yokohama geo lander tires. Has a cracked windshield and the driver side windshield trim missing but is in great shape other than that. No rips in very well taken care of interior. Please ask any questions.

Also...

No rust at all. None. Cleanest underbody you’ve ever seen. I’ve had an 80 that came from Chicago and working on it was not fun so that was the highest priority when buying this rig. It’s been awesome.
I can get pics of the full interior and underbody tomorrow if desired.

Well this ended poorly. Traded with Jon for his rig. Never told me the transmission had an overheating issue in the past. 100 miles later the transmission light came on, wouldn’t drive in any gear. It’s toast. 500$ tow later and I’m home with a broken cruiser. Jon is refusing to take any responsibility despite saying he knew it had overheated previously without letting me know that before the trade. Won’t pay for any work or give my Lx470 back. Unfortunately probably no legal ground to stand on. So if anyone has a good a440f transmission/transfer case for a FJ80 please let me know. I don’t recommend doing any business with Jon Hardy guys.

I think you want a A343F not A440f.

Sorry to hear about this. Good news is there are several 80 being parted out and the transmissions are generally very reliable.

Yeah sucks. Definitely a A440f though. The 343f wasn’t on the 4.0.

Sorry, I thought you meant the 1995 80 series in your sig. You should be able to find one in the classifieds pretty easily.
