Anybody need a good tow rig?? I am selling my beloved truck. Business has been slow, and I have to sell one of my trucks. Here's the specs:
2001 F350 4x4 single rear wheel, crew cab, long bed, lariet pkg
Powerstroke diesel, auto - 40k on rebuild, 274,000 miles (no, that's not a typo), white with tan leather interior, all power options, donaldson AIS severe service air filtration system, 4" exhaust, 3 way chip from DP Tuner, gauges in A-pillar, front leveling springs, rear air bags, 24" Weather Guard saddle tool box, hd receiver hitch, elec. brake controller, will need tires and shocks soon.

This truck is extremely clean and well cared for, never hotrodded, just used as a family hauller, tow machine, and work truck. There is still a lot of life left in this truck. I have always run Amsoil synthetic and have gotten great results from the regular oil analysis. Please call if you have questions or reply and I can e-mail pics. I am asking $12,500 obo. Or would consider trade for a super clean fj40, preferrably diesel.

sorry about the repeats...............first time posting pics. I'll eventually get it right.

Those that want more pics, let me know. Thanks

does that have the 7.3 in it or the 6.0? What did you use it for? Hot shot driver?

It's the 7.3

The 1st owner (0-180,000mi) traveled the country doing catering work and occasionally pulled a small enclosed trailer. I have all of the maintenance receipts from day one.

I bought it with approx 180K on the odometer and have used it to drive to do sales work and installs for my insulation business. I regularly pulled a double axle enclosed trailer and a few times pulled our light weight travel trailer on family vacations. The truck has been used but not abused. I did the mods to help fuel mileage and driveabiliy, not to hot rod around. Though I must say that is does have plenty of giddyup.

Other questions??????

Hey notyourmomslx450,

A buddy of mine is looking at a 60 in houston. If you are interested maybe we could work something out on delivery. Just a thought.

I noticed that the plate says missouri. What city? Also, when you did the rebuild, did you do the short block? Long block? What all was replaced? Sorry for the barrage of questions, just trying to get some more info.

I'm located 40 mi. east of Kansas City, MO. And I'm keeping the MU plate .

The engine has not been touched. The auto trans was rebuilt about 44k ago. The original trans lasted 230k if that is any indication of how the truck was cared for and driven. Most of the auto trannys in these trucks go for about 150K.

The engine runs great. It always gets great results from the oil analysis. I replaced some sensors and both batteries last winter, but other than that it has not been touched and should run great for many many more miles.

I'll be out in the field today. You can call me if you like, or I check the board when I get back this evening.

Thanks, Eric

I see. This is what got me confused. It looked like you were talking about the engine being rebuilt, but I see that it was referencing the auto tranny now.
