Hi Folks,
Recently when I was driving my LC from NY to Dallas I experienced something weird, on curves, almost 3 times I felt that the skid control working and I heard the beeping noise! after I slept and the day after all the 4 lights " Skid Control, ABS, Traction, Brake " were on, I drove the car for like 300 miles almost without a brake ! The pedal was spongy with something which you cant really call it brake!
:rofl:
Anyway, the day after the brake system was totally fine, no Beeping, No Fault, No Light and works perfectly fine but again I experienced the same problem!

So, I used my Diagnostic Tool and I got these following codes :

C1223--->ABS Control System Malfunction
C1251--->Pump Motor is Locked / Open Circuit in Pump Motor Ground
C1252--->Hydro Booster Pump Motor
C1256--->Accumolator Low Pressure

So, I dug here and everywhere and everybody talks about changing the Electric Motor, so I did!
I removed the whole Pump Assembly and changed the Electric Motor and put it in a place again,
But I got nothing!
still, the Relays working "I mean turning on and off cycle " but nothing more and still I have the same fault codes on DTC!

So, Any Suggestion? :wrench::wrench::wrench::wrench::wrench:

Bad Master cylinder. At least $2300 for one.

Usually the issues with the brakes are either the motor going out or the master cylinder not keeping pressure. Since you replaced the motor and its not fixed id bet on the master cylinder... Its quite a project but I think the rebuild kit from Toyota should fix your problems, its cheap so its worth a shot

Did you bleed the system completely after replacement......?

Sounds great to me ! I'm going to do that but you don't think I should hear the motor sound after I changed that ? Or I shouldn't get the same faults after I replaced the motor ?

Unplug the motor and test it on the vehicle by applying 12 volts and a ground. Double check all your connections. Or even simpler, check for power to the pump with a test light. Are the connections clean and not rusted up?

I tested before installation , the motor works fine at the place , connections on both sides of the wiring are like brand new connection !

And you've cleared the codes and they immediately come back?

Is this a new motor, rebuilt or used?

C1223 is shutting down the ABS unit to protect it.

its a rebuilt unit, i got it from ebay and as i told you i tested the unit before complete installation and even after installation on the accumulator and it works fine !

Are you sure the old motor was the original problem? Did you test it as well? Have you checked your connections well at the motor and at the ABS module?

I don't know about it was the original problem or not , but when I removed the motor it wasn't work really smooth, but the new one was smooth and fine , connections are tight and good !
my new question is what else could make this symptoms ? i mean any other sensors or whatever can make this problem ?

Have you unplugged all the connections at the ABS module and checked them for damage and/or corrosion?

UPDATE :
I JUST REMOVED THE BRAKE ASSEMBLY AND IT SEEMS THE NEW MOTOR DOESNT WORK, I ORDERED A NEW ONE AND I WILL UPDATE WHEN I REINSTALLED THE NEW MOTOR!
THANKS, EVERYBODY FOR YOUR HELP !
