For sure — family obligations all around — we’ll be watching this closely. There’s a crew in The Netherlands that converts 70 series to electric for the mining sector — Tembo 4x4 — so they might be a good resource.
Request for information about the Tembo 4x4 e-LV, the Electric Cruiser contact us There is also a team in New Zealand that is doing a 70-series conversion — they posted a few clips on YouTube. But few folks tackling rigs like Hilux/Taco or Tundra/Sequoia/200. Especially with newer electric drivetrain tech and battery packs.

@WorldCleanupDay : Thank you for your comment! That's great to hear that people like what I'm doing. I will document this conversion and publish it here. But progress will be slow due to family, work and other things to do.
I was inspired by this conversion on diyelectriccar.com (I know it's not a truck :)):

Actual I'm working together with a guy from the Netherlands to get this drivetrain running.
Also I can confirm the cases behind the A750F and A760H/F transmissions have a 19 spline shift. Found a picture of a Land Cruiser 200 t-case input (36100-60A90 or ...1 or ...2) on a Russian website.

So t-cases out of a 2nd gen Sequoia/Tundra with the 4.6L or 4.7L engine should have the right input shaft.
Now, the next task: Buying a Seqouia 36100-34181 t-case and getting it to Germany!

@KDN165 This sounds like a phenomenal project. I have been working on a different approach to the same goal. Did you end up posting a project log anywhere?

Is it just a different tail section for the 2wd tundra transmission to mate up to the Land Cruiser center diff?

Wondering if starting w a 2wd tundra would be feasible/financially prudent rather than starting w a 4wd tundra.

The tail section is different, including the output shaft on the 2WD transmission. I suspect you might have to go pretty deep into the transmission to change it.

Where is your shop? Do you do these types of swaps as a regular course of business?
