I bought a Landcruiser 200, 2007 model the keys were not working. After checking, I found the fault was in the Smart Key Module (Toyota 89990-60170).
The 8 pin eeprom 93C86BD was physically damaged. I couldn't retrieve any data out of it. I have a replacement already. I do need a virgin dump to be able to prepare it to accept a new keys. As I am going to do "all key lost" situation.
Please advice of the best way to approach this issue and resolve it. as I am doing this for the first time.
I have bought the Autel MaxiIM KM100 professional Key Tool and the EasyPro EZP2023+ USB High Speed Programmer. I also did quite a bit of reading and research. Just as I am doing it for the first time, I believe some guidance will come handy in the current situation.
whoever is going to help, please do not forget to send the eeprom virginize dump.
Thanks ahead.

Hmm I don’t know how to help you but I have a question. Could this broken part beeing the reason why I cant learn a new smart key onto my 200?
Tried everything, have exactly 1:1 the right blank key at home, Toyot tech also couldn’t help, no error codes n stuff.
Where is this module located?

I am doing this for the first time. I did quite a bit of research and it seems that the 8pin eeprom on the smart key module is the place were the key code are stored. when you introduce a new key, it will be stored there.
the place of the module is right under the dash board next to the steering coloum. it will say on it "Smart Key".

Most likely your Smart Key Module is the reason. Try to retrieve the pins from the IC900 eeprom. Then proceed with the programing.

That was the last plan to do hehe. In the meantime I found the reason. While there is nowhere in the system a sign for it and everything except teaching a new key works as intended…. there is a piezo receiver for the key signal under your shifter and this one was unplugged in my car.

Turns out this one receiver looks like to be there only for teaching keys.
