Gidgett's 200. She drove 870km to get me to do her car.

Wow, that looks great...can you share your methods and products used to produce this great shine?
Also....what are you using to polish the chrome on the tail gate? I have some seasonal damage from mag chloride that has pitted my
chrome....any suggestions?

Ive got questions. While I'd love to get my 200 to you for detailing, its a bit of a swim from Colorado. Ive done some detailing in the past so I have a DA, multiple pads, lots of pinnacle products and some great waxes. My 200 is super white and doesn't have a clear coat. I have struggled with its finish since I purchased it about 3 years ago. I have noticed that the paint gets dingy in the sense that if I just run the DA across a small section with a very light cutting pad (after wash and clay bar), I can easily see a difference in color. The truck looks great after a cut/buff/wax, but I have trouble keeping it that color, specifically through the winters here. Do you have any advice on a sealant, product, etc... that can help protect my paint and last for some time? I don't mind using the DA on it but I can't do it every 6 months and I'm not looking to make it a show car, just protect it in the long term.

Thanks for the help.

Here's my 16' LC after paint correction, paint protection film applied, and ceramic coating. My process for paint correction is wash 2x, claybar 2x, rotary polishing with various menzerna polishes and lake country foam pads, surface prep, 3M scotchgard pro paint protection film, then 2 coats of carpro Cquartz UK ceramic coating.

I couldn't believe how much shops were charging for paint protection film application, when the rolls were a faction of the price.
