Do you think I could store my jump starter in that attic if I secured it to the mesh? I understand the danger if a heavy object that high up flies forward, but the attic straps seem fairly strong and I wonder if I could get away with it if it was well secured.
BTW - maybe not accessories, but I'll add the jump starter here for future reference as one of the most valuable small "adds" to the truck. I've started a couple of friend's trucks with it this year, my boat twice, and recharged cell phones. Very powerful, holds a charge a long time, well built. Needs somewhere to be stored.....

Also, while I'm at it, I wanted an inexpensive set of tools to carry on the boat and now carry this in the truck as well. I am very surprised at the quality for the price. Take it from me, you can ignore the negative comments at Amazon. This isn't Craftsman or Snap On, so don't expect it. And my case works perfectly - the tools don't fall out. I've had it for years, stored all summer in the damp boat and a quick spray of WD-40 once every year or two has kept them absolutely rust free. I paid $70 for it in 2012 and now it's down to $58. That's a steal.
