And I mean that in an old school way not the urban hip term
Seriously I have had more trouble with snow and mud clinging to the inside of these wheels and causing balance issues. Was driving in 8” of snow last winter and then stopped for a while, guess the heat from the brakes melted the snow and it refroze and a few miles down the road I thought my tires were square - had to stop and chip away the ice inside my rims. Last week I drove on a muddy road and next thing I know my tires were out of balance. I went to the car wash and sprayed them off but that didn’t fix it so went to get them rebalanced and they discovered more dirt caked behind some of the wheel “spokes” - guess that what I get since the LX was probably thought to be mainly purchased as a mall cruiser I need to get some 18’s sooner rather than later!

Same problem on my wife’s Cayenne with big wheels. PITA in the winter. Handles good at high speeds, though...

I run 18” tundra wheels on my LX in the winter. When I’m due for new summer tires I’m going to look at switching my summer set to 18” as well as it drives much better on more rubber
