20 PSI 3RZ

Friend of mind have set a real nice machine with famous 3RZ at 20 PSI connected to a R150 tranny and stock t-case ..

T-case it's not holding the abuse .. so wonder other than going to this radical option ..

Toyota Tacoma / FJ / 4Runner Lefty Atlas Transfer Case

if there are other options in the maket .. and along that thought, wonder if there is a chance to run an auto tranny ( might be stock upgraded or new aftermaket unit ) ..

Since this it's a 100% trail / competition Rig .. most of mods are " allowed "

I think the auto trannies in the 3rd gen 4runners and 1st gen Tacoma's would be a good route and would probably bolt up. You would have to research to be sure. They can handle a fair amount of power stock. And can be built up to handle even more. Not sure of cheaper tcase options than a atlas.

Atlas it's a good option .. if there is no other that would be ..

Did you know someone like PTC for trannys that fit 3RZ engine..?

I would probably call Marlin Crawler and ask them what other t-case options their are. They use the 3rz a bit, they also would be super familiar with transfer cases and what routes are available. You could also go on the Marlin forum and private message big mike. He is Marlin's son, he is on that forum sometimes.

well turns out that LCE have this ..
