Hi all,

I am planning to drain and fill Transmission Fluid on 2003 LC. Went to 2 Toyota dealerships to find part numbers. This is what they game me.

Dealer #1: Drain Plug Gasket Part #: 35106B
Fill Plug Gasket part #: 35111Y

Dealer #2: Drain Plug Gasket Part #: 35178-30010
Fill Plug Gasket Part (O-Ring) #: 90080-30075

What are the correct part #s?

Dealer #2 parts work. The drain plug gasket is a crush washer for the drain and the o-ring is the seal for the dipstick filler tube. Those are what you need for an '03.

Yes, OP got the same answer when he asked the question a day or two ago but didn't believe me. I guess you can only try ...:)

@PADDO, I saw that thread too. I assumed the question in this separate thread came from the part numbers listed by dealer #1. At least you and I agree:bounce:

I saw that too. Interesting diagram of Dealer #1 shows with dip stick and fill plug, did the 03 5sp have both?

@2001LC that dealer#1 diagram doesn't represent what's installed in my 03, for starters the diagram doesn't show the filler/dipstick tube that's physically present on the LHS of the pan. There is a bolt (M10?) in the transmission casing above the filler tube but this isn't like any normal drain/fill point I'm used to seeing. I'm sticking with draining (almost 4q when front wheels are on ramps) from the drain plug with an M12 crush washer seal and filling via the dipstick tube.

Dealer #1 didn't give you part numbers. Those are PNC part number codes. It's what's in the EPC diagram. You click on that to get the list of part numbers for that PNC. Very common in my area to not give out part numbers. As policy at me dealer we do not give out part numbers. Some will give the PNClike dealer #1 some will just give out the last 5 digits.
