I'll give ya a rippin deal on my old Contour fans. They'll pull about 3k cfm all day long. That should be enough airflow for ya. You'll need to tie down anything you don't want flying around in the cab though.

Don't know, will need to test. I would look at the larger ones, ~6". Some have more output than others. I have a few if you want to play with them?
They can be mounted enclosed, but will need good airflow for performance/life.
I would look into using something more like a squirrel cage then just a round basic fan. If you mounted a couple smaller cages you could get your input from the side of the headrest instead of the front and still get a decent amount of airflow.

Uhh, im thinking the solar hats wont work to well inside the truck, no? Kevin, if you're going to be around the shop this weekend, I'd like to come check out what you have, oh, and by the way, thats the funniest thing I ever heard you say. Yeah Brandon, i'll have to skip on your fan idea, a little too big for my application. My buddies drawers, cool to the touch now, but soon to be hot, are going to have 2 compressors mounted under the PS hinged lid, in the rear section. We'll see if he goes ahead and cools them off. Heres a pic of his drawers. Do they make small squirrel cage fans?
Howdy! Yea, I know this is kinda late, but anyway, one of the 80's I looked at a while back had two of the 6/8" fans mounted on the second door grab handles. Seller said it worked great to cool off his kids. Not sure what brand. John

havent had time to figure anything out yet. I'll figure something out thats better than the set up I currently have though.
