SOLD!!!!

I have 2 Isuzu 4BD1T's for sale. These are 3.9l turbo diesel 4 cylinder engines, similar to a Cummins 4BT but they aren't as loud, don't shake near as much and are a bit smaller. With some tweaks of the injection pump and the correct turbo, these will make a reliable and driveable 450 ft/lbs of torque and get 25+ MPG. Very neat engines and a little hard to find.

One of them is mostly assembled and complete (including injection pump), but has a hole in the block. The other is torn down and ready for a rebuild and is very clean, but it was missing the injection pump. The crank journals look perfect. Together you can build a complete engine and have spare parts to sell, like the cyl head, turbo's, crank, all the misc parts, etc. I also have 2 factory turbos that appear to be in working order, 2 starters, 1 alternator, etc. Both engines had manual transmissions and come with 2 factory bellhousing adapters and flywheels. I have one decent wiring harness with the assembled engine.

Also included are;
  • Injectors that have been rebuilt by Oregon Injection
  • ARP head studs
  • Complete set of Crane Cams Z28 valve springs (enough springs for 2 engines)
  • NPR intercooler
  • New water pump
  • New oil filler cap

The good block, crank, head and cam have been covered in WD40 to keep rust from forming.

Hi-

Are these still available?

Whats the word on mating these to stock toyota transmissions? I am talking h44, in this case.

Thanks,

Austin

Yes, still available.

I have no idea about mating these to a Toyota transmission, if that's what you're interested in you need to do the research for your application. I was going to run it with the 4L80E that's pictured and mentioned in the ad.

Great engines that work well in LandCrushers.

There are many ways to mate them to the Toyota transmissions. Do a search here on mud and on 4BTswaps.com in the Isuzu section.

See my swap below for how I did it.
