Everything on the exhaust of my 88' FJ62 from the cats back was rusted through and cracking. I took it to a local muffler shop, had them put on 2 1/2" exhaust on from the cats back, with a Y pipe and a single Flowmaster muffler. The increase in pep is noticable, but not overwhelming. What has impressed me more is that my in town MPG went from 10-11 to 13.5 on my last fill up!

Next - some top end work...

If you're going to do top end work look at RockDoc's thread. He's going crazy (in a good way) with molds and flow testing.

I have been following that one closely - that is one thorough dude! I keep having to remind myself to pick my jaw up off of the desktop when I am reading his thread!

I think I am just sending out my manifolds and head...

That's reasonable. RockDoc has too much free time in the winter, that's what I am guessing.

Obviously not enough time to come over to my place though...

:p I should have pics of the "flow bench" up today or tomorrow.
