it all starts with alot of questions to alot of people. after being quoted 2500-3500 for a professional job i decided that i could do it 3 times for that. the shop i talked to set me up with the epoxy primer they use and gave me a quick run down on how to apply it.

my first bit of advise, for anyone who is a first time painter, is try to buy a kit that comes with all nessary components. this makes it much easyer and eliminates hunting for the proper hardener and reducer. Keystone 3 in 1 is what i used and i am happy with the result.

I used a gallon and 1 qt primeing everything but the white top. 3 coats on almost evrything.

pictures are coming soon...

my camera keeps freezing. more advise...

Tons of lights and better ventalation. once you start spraying it turns into a jiant room of fog. my ventalation setup consists of a box fan on high and my garage door cracked 2"

here are some of the pictures. hope you find them useful...

Great work! What color code/brand was your paint? I'll be spraying within the next couple of months too.

there is a place called APS, i dont know if you have them in your location. Its an auto paint specialty store and they were able to take a picture of a sample piece i brought in and mix it right there. it is a single stage acrylic enamil and i payed about 350$ with everyhting for it. i think if you google Automotive Paint Specialists it might be some help
